Scope and operator

This policy applies to the macOS app Ellie Sentry, provided by elha, and this product website. The app provides sleep prevention, system monitoring, automatic duty, and duty time records.

Information processed on your Mac

Preferences: durations, shortcut combinations, display language, automatic duty conditions, notifications, and mouse movement settings are stored in local app preferences.

Selected apps: the names and bundle identifiers of apps you choose for automatic duty are stored locally. Running apps are checked on-device for selection and condition matching, and are not sent to the developer.

Duty records: daily and total duty time and session counts are stored on-device. Rank is calculated from total duty time.

Live status: the app reads CPU and memory usage, network interface byte counters, and power and battery status on-device. It does not read browsing history or the content of network traffic.

Optional permissions and input

Notification permission is used for reminders before a shift ends and notifications at expiry. Notifications are scheduled locally, without a remote push server.

Accessibility permission is used by the optional mouse movement feature to slightly move the pointer and return it. This feature checks time since the last input event and the current pointer position. It does not store typed text, screen contents, or a history of pointer movements.

The global shortcut registers only the selected key combination. Launch at login and Shortcuts integration use macOS services. You can change permissions in System Settings.

Retention and deletion

CPU, memory, and network graphs keep the most recent 60 seconds in memory. These samples disappear when the app closes.

Daily duty records older than 90 days are pruned when records are saved. Total time and session counts remain until you choose Settings → Duty Log → Reset Records.

Preferences and selected apps are updated when you change settings or remove an app from the list. macOS may retain preference files after deleting an app. Duty records can be reset inside the app before removal.

Transfers and third parties

The app does not sell user information or share it for advertising. It has no developer-operated collection server, third-party advertising or analytics SDK, or remote account system.

Apple services, including App Store distribution and any diagnostic sharing you enable in macOS, are governed by Apple’s policies and your system settings. These are separate from the app’s own data handling.

This website

This website has no analytics tools, advertising scripts, or tracking cookies. Language changes use links to Korean and English pages; no cookie stores the choice. Images are served by this site, and text uses device fonts.

The hosting server may process connection logs, such as IP addresses and request times, to serve pages. Actual logging and retention depend on the hosting environment used for deployment.
